Is it possible to set Winbatch to open a selected folder when you click File Open? I have a folder on the network that has all my Winbatch coding in, it would be nice if I could default it to this instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\WinBatch\System.

Thanks

Deana

I recommend modifying the "Start In" directory of a shortcut you use to launch the Studio.

For example if you start WinBatch Studio from the Windows Start Menu:

  • Go to the Start menu and locate the WinBatch Studio icon.
  • Right-Click on the icon.
  • Select Properties...
  • Specify the 'Start In' directory (i.e. "C:\MyScripts\")

Keep in mind. That if you have WinBatch Studio set to 'restore workspace at startup'. It will default to the current working directory of the last loaded script. To confirm if you have this setting go to View|Options...Editor tab...See if the checkbox is checked.
