Title: Prevent Winbatch Studio From Grabbing Focus When Running a Script?
Post by: mcjathan on February 08, 2019, 02:40:50 PM
Is there any way to configure Winbatch Studio so that when it's running a script it isn't constantly grabbing the focus?  I'd like to be able to run  a script (with break points), and then minimize studio and do other work, and then check back occasionally to see if I've hit a break point.

Is this possible?

Nope.  There are multiple ways to break a script without using a WBS breakpoint and having it grab the focus.  Including a  "breakpoint" statement in your script.

Overstated the negative a bit.  You can prevent a WBS break-point from grabbing the focus by iconizing WBS to the Taskbar before the running script encounters the breaking line.  WBS will not grab the input focus when it is iconized.
