I have discovered that even though I have things set to send me emails on the receipt of private messages that never occurs.   Can that be fixed?  Thanks.

We have noticed the issue but don't know why the forum stopped sending messages.  We have tried multiple solutions that have all failed miserably so for now you and the rest of us that rely on email notification are out of luck.
