Give EDITBOX control a flat appearance
« on: June 28, 2022, 06:05:09 am »
I might be remembering wrong, but is there a way to give an EDITBOX control a flat appearance?

For some reason I think I remember doing that years ago, but I could be wrong.

If there isn't such an option, it sure would be a nice addition. The 3D input boxes look a bit dated at this point.

The EDITBOX control does not have a @csFlat style like the PUSHBUTTON control because the underlying Win32 common control does not support the style directly. While being "dated" is not necessarily a bad thing your request will be taken under consideration.

Some find the "modern" look to be distracting and unintuitive.
