Title: Microsoft App Store
Post by: pguild on February 04, 2020, 05:10:15 PM
Has anyone put an app (.exe file) created with Winbatch into the Microsoft Store?

If so, what is the process?  What I am thinking is:

1. I create a MSI installer package and load the .exe and .dll files into the package.
https://www.advancedinstaller.com/  -- looks like it might work for that.
2. I convert the .msi installer package into an MSIX package.
3. I test the MSIX package and then submit it to Microsoft.

Ancient WinBatch Forum proverb - Sometimes no response is the response.

I have myself received this wisdom.  It was bitter, but truthful.

The only thing worse than having people talk about you is having people not talk about you.

The only thing worse than a snarky online response is no response at all.
