Going from PS to WB
« on: June 13, 2013, 05:41:42 am »
Attached is a pretty neat PS script that looks into areas affected when a PC is pending reboot. If run in PS it will output to a Grid for the local PC but there are notes in the script about running for a list of servers or a remote PC.
Since it appears to be based on registry values it could probably be easily converted to pure WB.

Yes WinBatch Registry functions can be used to handle this. Do you have a specific question about converting this to a WinBatch script?

I hate being specific. Reminds me of what Groucho Marx once said ... "I would never join a club that would have me as a member".
But to answer your question. Works fine as is. Compiled a Wb2013 script for a friend who handles multiple machines and asked the question about pending reboots.
