Would it be possible to modify WB Studio so that when I'm working on a script, the scroll wheel on my mouse/trackball will scroll the script up and down?

Vertical scroll works with the typical wheel mouse. Perhaps it is a mouse configuration issue or maybe the scroll mouse driver generates information the OS converts to nontraditional mouse windows messages.
Either way, we will look into and add the request to the "list".

Not sure what your mouse setup is, but I too can confirm this function works as is. Don't think this has ever NOT been a function. Horizontal mouse scroll function works without issue also.
