Toast

Trying to get Toasts to work in my Extender.   If someone has a minute and willing to give this a try, I would appreciate it.   For me it shows in the Action Center but I don't get the foreground display.  Curious if that is what others see as well.  Thanks.

For me, nothing appears to happen at all.

Also, the action center doesn't open.  I should have tested that BEFORE I ran the program -- now I'm not sure the program caused it.  I will reboot as soon as I'm able and try it again.

worked for me... popup with Do you Like toast and two buttons.

Hmmmmmmmm....wonder why it doesn't pop-up for me, as expected???   My setting in Windows looks okay.     I see it in the action center but no pop-up :-(

Haven't done anything with colors, or anything really.  Just at the "get it working" stage.

Time to put a few more holes in the wall with my head I guess.  Maybe that will help.

Just remembered I  had an old laptop laying around so fired it up and tried it and it works.  Guess I can stop beating my head against the wall and start adding functionality

OK, after a fresh reboot, it works as others have described.   I'll continue to fiddle with it and see if it stops working after a while.  I use my machine hard, and only very rarely reboot, so maybe a key resource runs out after a few days?
I love the idea of being able to easily make toast messages.

Not sure if Sound works or not.   I get mixed results.   You may just get a "New Notification" message if you try to add sound, rather than the text you specified.   Text and Images seem to work though.   Let me know if you disagree and if sounds works or not for you.

Sound is sorted out now.  I went with a preset list rather than working with provided file paths.

Please let me know if any of you have any requests for this functionality?     If I don't hear anything I will consider it settled and working and turn it loose on the world.   Thanks.
