Title: Windows Update popup "Updates are available" prevents Active Window Auotmation
Post by: winbatchnovice on December 09, 2021, 12:43:50 PM
I tried a search and couldn't find a similar case.

Running WinBatch on Windows Server 2019, anytime Windows updates are avaialble, a small notification in the bottom right pops up.
I had tried disabling this but appeared to be unsuccessful.

Has anyone been able to work around this?

Not sure about your OS, but for Windows 10:

Assuming that proper backup procedures are in place and for critical systems, a fallback VM has been created or is available, one could simply install the updates.
