Internet Explorer Tabs (again, sorry)

Back to IE v11 - I have a routine that's opening a third party VoIP portal, logging in, navigating a few pages and eventually submitting a query. The query opens a new browser tab with a table of phone numbers, etc. I'm stumped on what should be fairly simple - how do I read in the new tab document? The initial pages are read in using "br = startMSIE(url)" and then use the br.document to get various things from the pages - but when I open the new tab, even though it's the active tab, scanning the page elements returns the original page info, not the new tab.

How do I read in the new document so I can work with it?
