I have using winbatch for several years now and never seen this problem.
I am using version 2015A on windows 10.
Already whitelisted TXT and WBT in windows 10.

The program runs multiple times a day and at times for no reason it runs exceedingly slow.
Its almost like its taking 10 minutes to execute a line.
Interesting if i move the mouse over the winbatch window it runs at normal speed.

I have DebugTrace enabled  with TimeYmdHms ( )  all over the code and I noticed that the cause of the slowness is random. There is no specific line causing the slowness.

Hard to say what the problem is as likely close to half of all WinBatch users are running it on Windows 10 and WinBatch is developed on Windows 10 systems.  This is not something we have experienced or heard about.  That said, a sudden slowness of applications on Windows 10 is sometimes caused by the Windows update service starting the process of downloading and readying the system for one MSFT's major feature updates, i.e., updating from version 1803 to version 1809 or 1709 to 1803.  This kind of system slowing is caused more by Windows hammering the disk controller or memory bus than the CPU so it is a little trickery to discover the source using something like Task Manager.  It can also take days to complete.

In general, Windows 10 tends to be a bit buggy and a bloated resource hog but outside of the above, I don't have any suggestions.

Yes thanks Td. This is going to be a difficult one

I installed the trial version of winbatch 2018, But I do not see the Image extender - WWIMG44I.DLL
http://www.winbatch.com/download.html#dlwilextenders
Any ideas where we can download it from.. or will the earlier version of the extender work with 2018.

The "Pixie" extender was dropped years ago because the third party library that the extender has too many bugs.  If you have an old version, it will likely still "work". But since we don't support it, it has never been tested with newer versions of WinBatch.
