Just an FYI... I found a pretty decent free online icon editor...who doesn't like free.
It does the job for creating ICO files for WinBatch compiled programs.

I guess the "cloud" is all the buzz in the last few years so why not an icon editor as SaaS.  Thanks for the link. I will have to give it a try.

Nice. I had posted CLR code to extract icons from applications which are saved as .png. The link you provided did a nice conversion to .ico
