Title: Read Text from PDF Document
Post by: MW4 on October 07, 2015, 12:47:10 PM
I'm using the Read Text from PDF Document script from the tech database.

I'm missing some data when I use it vs. just selecting all (CTR-A) and pasting into notepad.

It's a pull of invoice data and the Manufacturer changed the format slightly and now it's not showing.

The data is formatted where text shows up far left and the corresponding dollar amounts show far right with a large empty space in between.

Where do I begin to start looking?

You could start by looking at the Acrobat online documentation.  And there is always the no Acrobat SDK technique of loading it into a browser and then using SendKeys to place the text in the clipboard.  Search on "PDF" to find the topic on the WinBatch board.
