Title: will "IIS Express" work to host webbatch scripts?
Post by: kdmoyers on September 12, 2024, 04:46:15 AM
I need to present some simple info to the local lan, and a Webbatch script seems like a convenient wat to do it, but I need a local-to-the-pc web server to run webbatch, right?.
Do you think "IIS Express (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/extensions/introduction-to-iis-express/iis-express-overview) will do the job?
( If I sound clueless about webbatch, it's because I am! )

I use regular IIS when developing and testing WebBatch based sites but I can't think of any reason why IIS Express wouldn't work too.
