Title: Winbatch files (.wbt) with zero bytes after being saved to Dropbox
Post by: pguild on January 13, 2025, 02:09:53 PM
I have 9 different Winbatch files that I saved in Dropbox using WinBatch Studio a few years ago. I gave the files numbers like this:  MagicEarTrainer-01.wbt --
MagicEarTrainer -02.wbt etc.  Everyone of these file is unusable -- they all have no data and show up as a blank screen when loaded into Winbatch Studio.

Any suggestion on how to retrieve the original files?

By default WinBatch Studio makes backups of all files opened and modified by the application unless you have turned the feature off.

You can check the location of backups by going to View->Options->Editor and examining the edit box labeled "Backup file specification". Also, notice the Make backup files check box.
