Title: This is interesting...

Although not in a corporate environment any longer... did receive this

Starting in June 2025, Microsoft will roll out a new OneDrive feature that prompts users to add their personal Microsoft accounts on work devices.

If users accept, their personal OneDrive files will sync alongside business files, without IT involvement. Even more concerning, users could begin saving business data to their personal OneDrive, bypassing organizational controls and enabling unrestricted sharing.

This feature is enabled by default and will apply automatically unless proactively managed.

Did find that prompt could be disabled by setting registry keys

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive]"DisableNewAccountDetection"=dword:00000001

[HKCU\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive]"DisablePersonalSync"=dword:00000001
