Title: Must Be Week for IE - continued
Post by: stanl on August 09, 2014, 09:19:48 am
Contacted again and it seems another of the scripts I uploaded circa 2010 failed to gather latitude and longitude for a given address.  As I have always felt pleased when a script I posted appears in the tech db, scripts dealing with IE or web scraping should have a WB 'Pontius Pilate' clause that the web will change.

The person who contacted me understood this and didn't want to make a big deal of it by posting it on the board. The fix was easy (for now) as I found another url with the info that was easy to access via an HTTP request.

I attached a basic use of that url if anyone is interested.
