Check for Group Existence

I'm drawing a blank on how to check for the existence of a group within Active Directory.
Any hint or suggestions as to how to get started would be greatly appreciated.

There multiple ways to determine if an AD group exists.  Which one you use depends on how much information you have to start with and your technology preferences.  The most generalized solution might be to use the ADSI extender's dsFindPath function.  You can get more information about this function in the Consolidated WIL Help file.
