Random AppCrash
« on: June 25, 2013, 06:44:55 am »
Hey,

Hopefully, someone has an idea of where a random problem has just come from.  We have a logon script that calls a Winbatch script which works fine on most computers but on the odd one or two it throws an error stating a problem with WBDDA34I.DLL.

Here's the windows AppCrash dump:

  Problem Event Name:   APPCRASH
  Application Name:   GroupConnect.exe
  Application Version:   2.0.0.4
  Application Timestamp:   3e1c9928
  Fault Module Name:   WBDDA34I.DLL
  Fault Module Version:   4.0.3.0
  Fault Module Timestamp:   3e1f340d
  Exception Code:   c0000005
  Exception Offset:   0003fbb7
  OS Version:   6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
  Locale ID:   2057
  Additional Information 1:   d294
  Additional Information 2:   d294bd484228068feb6076f632603188
  Additional Information 3:   5f7c
  Additional Information 4:   5f7c9cc7ffcb5d0ee8597b09c4900599

We've no idea why it only fails on a couple of machines when there's very little difference between the machines.

Any guidance on where to start would be helpful.

Frosty.

Based on the details from the AppCrash dump I see you are running a much older version of WinBatch (2003F) on a Windows 7 System. This version of WinBatch is not supported on Windows 7. You need to be running WinBatch 2009C or newer on Windows 7. I recommend updating your version of WinBatch if you plan to run scripts on Windows 7.
